One order, a different card for each colleague?
Yes. Each card of an order can carry its own name, its own artwork and its own link. You do not need one order per person.
A different link on each card
You give the link or the text to write for each card, for example a LinkedIn profile, a hosted contact card or a booking page. Printags encodes it before shipping.
A different design on each card
Upload one file per card: name, job title, photo. The price per card is that of the whole order, whatever the number of designs.
From a few cards to an automated flow
The shop is enough for a team. When software has to order the cards (a new colleague, a new member), the API and the MCP server do the same from your system.
The chip
What does the chip contain, and who owns it?
The chip stores a link. Your card opens the page you chose, and you stay the owner of that page: there is no Printags profile app and no subscription.

NTAG424 on wooden cards
Wooden cards carry an NTAG424 chip, with built-in encryption.
Locked or rewritable
Once written, the chip is locked, so nobody can overwrite it. If you want to change the link later, ask for a rewritable chip when you order.

The shop offers PVC cards, printed on both sides with a matte finish, with or without a chip, and wooden cards with an NFC chip.

NFC business cards: your questions
Which phones read an NFC business card?
Most Android phones read it with the screen on, and recent iPhones (XS and later) read it without an app. Add a QR code to the design for the people whose phone cannot.
Can I change the link after printing?
Only if the chip stays rewritable. By default the chip is locked once written, so choose the rewritable option when you order if the link may change. The page the link points to can always change.
Which design files can I send?
PNG, JPEG or PDF files, up to 25 MB each. You can also order without a file and send it from the shop.
How long does it take?
Production takes 48 working hours, and delivery is free in France.
Can each person get a different card in the same order?
Yes: a different name, artwork and link on each card, in a single order. The unit price is that of the whole order.
NFC or QR code, or both?
Both work together: the chip opens your link when tapped, and a QR code printed on the card does the same for any phone with a camera.
How do you read an NFC business card?
Hold it against the back of the phone with the screen on. Most Android phones and iPhones from the XS on open it without an app.
Does an NFC card replace a paper business card?
It complements it well: it opens your page or profile with one tap, and a QR code on the back covers phones that do not read NFC. The link written to the chip is fixed, but the page it leads to can change at any time.
