FAQ — Pricing
Is there a minimum commitment?
No, all our plans are commitment-free. You can change plans or cancel at any time. Billing is monthly.
Is the NFC encoding price included?
Encoding is included. Only the NFC chip surcharge is added to the basic PVC card price. The calculator above automatically includes this surcharge based on the selected chip type.
Is shipping included in the price?
Not for integrators: shipping is billed on top, at the rate of the carrier you choose. Several carriers are available in the platform and you pick the one you want for each order. Printags takes no margin on shipping. Shipping is only included in the price for one-off orders placed on the shop.
How does billing work?
Monthly subscription (fixed) + per-unit cost per card produced. The invoice is issued at the end of the month with details of each order. Payment by credit card or bank transfer.
Can I pay in CAD or USD?
Yes, the calculator and billing support euros (EUR), Canadian dollars (CAD) and US dollars (USD). The exchange rate is updated daily.
Do I have to order a minimum number of cards each month?
No. No plan includes a quota or a minimum order. Each month you pay your subscription plus the cards actually printed, at your plan’s unit price. In a month without printing, you only pay the subscription. If your volume changes for good, you can switch to another plan at any time.
Can I try before paying?
Yes. The Classic plan includes 14 days of subscription free; a bank card is required at sign-up. You can also test the API for free in the sandbox before going to production.
What is MCP access and how do I turn it on?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard for connecting a compatible AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to your Printags account. Our MCP server is built for integrators: it lets you create, manage and track your orders straight from your assistant. Access is free on every plan but is not switched on by default: ask our team through the contact page and we will enable it on your account.
